Although many people in the world face many conflicts since ages in time institutions like the UN Amnesty international,African union and the international criminal court among others have come up with policies to promote peaceful resolutions but none has been successful.
Conflicts have been made a norm among societies that wars and killings are necessary for human survival . But lets come to think of it,how can one prosper, improve and build a better life after they have lost their lives.
The practice of increased killings, torture and violence in our country plus religious and political wars around the world, is it a proof that there is no available strategy to achieve peace, No we can be able to achieve peace through practical ways like having peace educations, religious dialogues, peace walks, Conferences etc
A peaceful environment supports a peaceful mind development and a global growth. It is against the above background that Clean ongoel association which is affiliated to HWPL an international organisation has embarked on its program for declaration of peace and the cessation of war. It should be a general right for mothers, children, youth and fathers to live with the joy of a peaceful mind and safety.
One of the wings of HWPL that is the international peace youth group (IPYG) believes that the youth are a powerful source of peace. When the youth unite with a similar voice of declaration of peace and the cessation of war, there will no be any labor to fight the conflict because the aged count on the youth to fight the battles. therefore the youth are light of the world to see peace.
