About Clean Ongoel Uganda

CLEAN ONGOEL UGANDA is a Korean NGO that is remarkably impacting the lives of Ugandans. Having been established about 3 years ago, our achievements are quite tremendous and our success story is clearly visible in such a short period of time. Our main offices are located in Nakulabye, a city suburb about 10km west of the city Centre. There is also a branch in Ntinda. Among the many activities that we do, CLEAN ONGOEL’s primary focus is to advocate for peace through religious harmony (suppressing coercive conversion from religion to religion) but also teach people the Word of God for spiritual growth .We believe that when your spiritual life is on the right path, then the physical life will absolutely be successful. Besides that, we are training Ugandans in a number of vocational skills at no cost. This comes as a remedy to support the unemployed youth in Uganda. WHAT IS HWPL?

"Heavenly Culture World Peace Restoration of Light" HWPL is a Non-governmental, Non-profit International Peace Organization headquartered in Seoul, the capital city of South Korea and has 170 branches internationally and approximately three million and one hundred thousand international members currently. HWPL works to achieve world peace and cessation of war. It runs with a motto of practicing the heavenly culture As you can recognize on the name of HWPL, Heavenly Culture is the main motto of HWPL's activities. Heaven is always higher than the earth, so the culture of the heaven is also higher than the culture of the earth. 65,000 People Rescued By Fishermen During Floods: Kerala Minister

In Pathanamthitta district 70 per cent of trapped people were rescued by fishermen. (File) KOCHI: Braving driving rain and raging waters, fishermen from Kerala had rescued 65,000 marooned people from flood hit areas in the state during rescue operations, Fisheries Minister J Mercykutty Amma said on Sunday. In the worst hit Pathanamthitta district alone, about 70 per cent of the total number of people trapped were rescued by local fishermen who had to all along work in harsh weather, she said. "Fishermen in 669 mechanised country boats rescued a total of 65,000 people marooned in all districts, braving the torrential rains and floods," she said at a function organised in Kochi to honour the fishermen. The minister said the government had a clear vision when it decided to prepare fishermen from the sea coast for rescue operations.
